How can I optimize the speed of the Risk Tool?

Last updated 11 months ago

We are actively working on improving the speed of a search with the Risk Tool. In the meanwhile, if a search takes longer than 10 min, please consider the following options:

  • Reduce the number of keywords. The current algorithm is optimized for no more than around 50 keywords.

  • For large keyword groups (> 50 keywords) separated by the AND operator, consider running separate searches and the results.

  • Reduce the number of wildcards (* or ?); they tend to slow down the search.
